The courses of the EPOS Programme will be announced through email and on the EPOS website. If you are not on the EPOS mailing list but interested in the EPOS program, you can send your name, email address, and affiliation to, with the request to be put on the mailing list.

Membership/Fees: Epos membership fee costs: 450,– per PhD person per year. This provides free access to all Epos courses in that calendar year.

After payment for three years for a PhD student, the fourth year membership is provided for free.

For non-Epos members it is also possible to pay per course, which in most cases is 250 euros.
Courses need to be paid in advance upon registration. Make sure you check the registration period for non-members (see course calender). Epos members do have priority if classes are full.

Registration is possible mostly until about 5 working days before the beginning of the courseĀ  (see website courseschedule), or until the maximum number of participants is reached.

Rules concerning registration

For all courses with an attendance maximum, the following schedule will be used to regulate priority:
In the first week, registration is only open to PhD students with an all-inclusive membership. All-inclusive members can register through e-mail to the
In the second week, registration is open to PhD students from affiliate universities.
After two weeks, registration opens for all who are interested.

For these courses separate announcements will be sent once the registration is open and announced on the website. If classes are full, this will be mentioned on the website.

Cancellation of course participation:

For all members en non-members subscribed for courses: cancellation is only possible at the latest 2 workingweeks before the course starts. There will be no refund for non-members after this date.


At the end of the PhD project, the participants will receive a certificate with a list of courses enrolled. Certificates for individual courses are also provided.
